With the recent drop of our new Denkiyu collab kendama we wanted to share what all went into it!
This is a collaborative effort between MuuMuu Coffee and Denkiyu based out of Sumida, Tokyo. Denkiyu is a public sento/bath house where Ayumu Haitani is a regular. The tama is inspired by the ceiling inside the sento, the characters across the sarado translate to "men" and "women", and the handle and big cup together translate to Denkiyu. This setup has a maple 1UP ken, beech tama, sticky paint, and 6-10 finger length black string.
Of course, we had to put together a video getting some bangers on the Denkiyu collab, and Chad and Alex had no problem stepping up to the plate. From epic fast hand tricks from Alex, to Chad's casual yet technical tap lines, this edit really shows what this kendama is capable of!
