This is a collaborative effort between SWJP, Sol Kendamas and Kendama Co. SWJP is an upscale street fashion brand launched in March 2025 by American designer and prominent vintage collector Sean Wotherspoon alongside Tokyo-based creative director Uchi. The brand name effectively stands for "Sean Wotherspoon Japan Project." Diving into the design of the kendama, the tama features a halfsplit layout with 50% being painted, 50% laser engraved, with a matte clear coat over top. We added a white tracking on top and a white ring around the bevel to help increase the tracking. The ken is full maple using the Kendama Co Shenzhu Shape. The sarado is laser engaved to match the bottom 50% of the tama. The bevel is also a crushable bevel.
